Get More Cash Back with Wallaby Card?

Wallaby combines all your reward cards into one card. Wallaby keeps track of all of the different rewards offers for each of the credit cards you own, including limited-time and one-time discounts. They know that one credit card has 5% cash back on gas stations this month, while another has triple points on restaurants. They also know your credit line limits and cash back maximums. Wallaby automatically picks the right card for you–every time you swipe. The Wallaby Card comes with an introductory free usage period of six months. After that, it’s $50 per year.

I’m not totally convinced that the Wallaby Card can do what it says, but since it has a free trial period I’m going to try it. Even if it does work I am not a big enough spender to justify the $50 fee and I only use a couple of cards so it isn’t too difficult for me to keep track of the categories. I do sometimes have trouble remembering what the 5% Bonus Cashback category is for my Discover® More Card but I just put a post-it note on the card to remind me. What do you think of the Wallaby Card? If you want to try it you can use my personal referral link.

I signed up earlier and “won” a free year to Wallaby. However, the $50 annual fee I think will kill any potential rewards it could have generated me. From other reading, Wallaby will issue you a card, and you use that for payments, and then it will pass the credit card processing onto your real credit card. This raises some questions such as how it will affect price protection and extended warranties.

I have the same concerns as you, but I’ll probably see how it works for the free trial.
