PerkStreet Financial was offering a $50 checking bonus but they are also offering a $100 checking bonus. Some details from the bank promo page.
To get the $100 bonus, open an account with a $25 minimum deposit and keep it active for three straight months. We’ll deposit $100 into the account within 15 business days of the end of the third month.

Looks like they upped the deal. Nice!
PerkStreet will use ChexSystems to descriminate against, and deny account opening to anyone who has opened more than a certain number of accounts in the past three years.
This should not be relevant, but PerkStreet uses this benign statistical info as an adverse event to justify discriminatory policies.
PerkStreet will then refer you to ChexSystems.
If requested, ChexSystems will only provide you the record.
Neither will do anything about it.

I experienced the same thing as Mark. Denied an account despite clear reports.
