Starting tomorrow July 8, 2009 the WTDirect Savings Account is scheduled to offer up to a $150 bonus for the opening of a new account. This bank promo is not yet listed on their site but I spoke with a CSR who confirmed the savings account bonus would be starting tomorrow. The bonus is tiered depending on your initial funding amount. You receive a $25 for an opening deposit of $10,000, $50 for an opening deposit of $20,000, $75 for an opening deposit of $30,00, $100 for an opening deposit of $40,000 and $150 for an opening deposit of $50,000 or more. The account currently pays 1.76% APY. You must fund the account by 7/31. Funds must stay on deposit through 10/31. The bonus will be paid around 11/20. This promotion may end at any time.
